BWF Awards announces 2021 call for entries

The British Woodworking Federation (BWF) has announced a call for entries for its prestigious BWF Awards, which celebrate outstanding achievement, skills and talent across the woodworking and joinery sectors.

This year – 2021 – marks the 13th anniversary of the annual Awards, with both companies and individuals encouraged to enter. There are six categories to choose from, including 'Woodworking Project of the Year', 'Product Design in Wood' and 'Rising Star of the Year'.

“We’re delighted to be bringing the woodworking sector together once again to place a spotlight on the technical innovation, creativity and efficiency that make ours such an exciting field to work in,” said Helen Hewitt, Chief Executive of the BWF. “After what has been such a challenging time for so many of us, this is an important opportunity to unite once again as a sector and look forward to some well-deserved celebrations and socialising, which we've all missed so much over the last 16 months. I can't think of a better platform to remind ourselves of the fantastic work and incredible people that push the boundaries of woodworking and joinery, as well as looking to the future by recognising the stars and leaders of tomorrow.”
