Three family-owned companies with a united passion for innovative interior design solutions join together for the first common brand experience of EGGER, CLEAF and Blum.

Situated on Dallington Street – in the heart of London’s Clerkenwell design district – the inspirational interiors showroom is set to open its doors this autumn. Led by EGGER, the partnered space will provide a hub of creativity, design inspiration, material education and more, attracting architects, interior designers and specifiers from all over the world.

EGGER is a global manufacturer of a wide portfolio of materials for the interior design, furniture and construction industries, including decorative-faced panels, lacquered panels, laminates, edging, worktops, in addition to both decorative and structural flooring.

EGGER

Founded in 1961 under the ethos of wood being too valuable to throw away, EGGER began producing chipboard from sawmill by-products, creating a market for this waste product and diverting it from landfill or biomass. EGGER prides itself on utilising carbon retaining and recyclable materials and continues to hold environmentalism at the heart of its operations today.

EGGER is renowned industry-wide for its high quality products, exceptional service and market expertise. Within the international architecture and design sector, EGGER’s identity is that of a leading supplier of environmentally sustainable, budget conscious and lasting materials, manufactured using state-of-the-art technology in texture and print, meaning there’s no compromise on design.

CLEAF

An Italian company that produces innovative surfaces for furniture and interiors, CLEAF was founded in 1975 by the Caspani family and is synonymous with high-end products renowned for their exceptional texture design and tactile innovation. CLEAF’s faced panels, laminates and edging – exclusively manufactured at production sites in Brianza – are installed worldwide by architects and companies building inspirational spaces for living and working.

Building on a decades’ long relationship between the owning families – Egger and Caspani – the two companies commenced joint projects in 2019. The Egger family now owns 27.5% of CLEAF.

Blum

Blum – a global manufacturer of innovate fittings and technical solutions for furniture and interiors – is a market leader in the manufacturing of products including hinge systems, runners, lift systems and motion technologies. Blum specialises in technical solutions for furniture and innovative ways to maximise space. The Austrian company was founded in 1952 and now manufactures in six countries internationally.

Clerkenwell Design Week

The showroom space is set to combine the three brands’ materials in an immersive display and working space. The showroom will open its doors temporarily during Clerkenwell Design Week. Join the brands from Tuesday 21–Thursday 23 May for a sneak peek of what’s to come, with new product displays, a series of talks and workshops, and networking events across the three-day festival.
